Camp
August 1-5 saw nearly 150 campers and workers gathering
for our first youth camp at the new premises on the
Cannock Chase. Our recognition and thankfulness to Tom
and Nathalie Wallace who had spent many months planning,
shopping, and working to make it all possible and many
others worked right up to the minute to complete the
necessary work to make the camp ready.
Comment has been made that it has been one of the best
camps ever. We did not feel that we had to rush off or
be accountable to a landlord. We were the landlord and
we were all responsible to make it a success. Praise the
Lord it was successful. We saw nine souls saved and many
re-committing themselves to the Lord. Three took
applications for Bible College and many more in the
coming years plan on furthering their Christian
education as a direct result of the ministry of camp.
You can see photos of the camp on the websites listed. |

College Information
Baptist Bible College will open this Autumn for our
first full academic year at the White House. We
currently have three new students enrolled and have room
for many more!
Orientation will be on the 8th and 9th of September
with classes beginning on the 12th. Our first two
classes offered are Biblical Counselling taught by Bro.
Morris Hull and Old Testament Survey taught by Bro.
Damian Pickett.
In July we received accreditation through the European
Theological Seminary in Northern Ireland. This is our
first step toward wider recognition for the college.
Pray with us as we develop Baptist Bible College.

Charities Commission
Our work toward gaining recognition for the Fellowship
with the Charities Commission is still going forward. We
have been advised by our solicitor to present our
documents to a company that does writing for such
applications in order that we will not be using terms
that may confuse or muddle our position. This has been
prompted by the heighten awareness of foreign bodies in
the UK and it also makes gaining recognition more
important for the future of our works here in the UK. |

Websites
We now have this website for the BBFGB. It is in it’s
infancy.
Suggestions would be welcome. Please address these to Eric
Simpson. You are welcome to send your church website
address to be included as a link.
The college also has a website.
www.baptistbiblecollege.co.uk
Our current catalogue and schedule of classes can be
viewed from here; also, an application can be
downloaded. There are photos of the property, and from
these two sites you can access the camp photos and
report. |
